Where is Oakridge Accounting located?

We are based at 36 Production Drive, Alfredton VIC 3350, in Ballarat. We serve clients across Ballarat, regional Victoria, and can also assist clients remotely via our cloud accounting platforms.

Our office is open Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm. Appointments outside these hours are available on request.

The standard individual tax return deadline is 31 October each year. However, if you lodge through a registered tax agent like Oakridge, you may be eligible for an extended deadline — often as late as May of the following year.

Commonly required records include bank interest statements, rental income and expense records (where applicable), details of any asset disposals, and substantiation for work‑related deductions claimed against your employment income.

In line with ATO requirements, work‑related deductions must be directly related to earning your income, not reimbursed, supported by appropriate records, and retained for at least five years.
